Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a real difference this summer by supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist near East Providence, RI. This short-term opportunity is perfect for professionals who want to focus on impacting PreK-12th grade students over a concentrated summer session. You'll provide your expertise across a varied caseload, working just 3 days a week with approximately 12 hours weekly, allowing for excellent work-life balance. Applicants should hold current SLP-CCC credentials as well as a Rhode Island SLP license. Experience in pediatric, healthcare, and school settings is highly valued, as is prior work with diverse student populations. This summer contract runs from June 30 to July 30, offering an engaging way to enhance your clinical skills while making a lasting impression in education.
What You'll Need:
Current SLP-CCC certification Active Rhode Island SLP license Experience with pediatric populations in school or healthcare environments Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based therapy documentation Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to PreK-12 students in a school-based setting Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate student records Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists for comprehensive care Track progress and adjust interventions as needed for a manageable student caseload
