Position Overview:
Captain Isaac Paine Elementary School is seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech Teacher to provide services during our Extended School Year (ESY) program. The Speech Teacher will work with students requiring speech and language support as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for extended school year programming. This role is focused on maintaining students' progress and preventing regression over the summer months.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs Collaborate with special education staff and ESY team members to support student success Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services delivered Participate in team meetings as required Communicate effectively with staff and families regarding student progress
