Qualifications & Requirements:
Active Rhode Island SLP license/certification Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience delivering speech and language therapy to pediatric and school-aged populations Strong collaboration and interpersonal communication skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Previous school-based experience is highly valued
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for students in K-12 Design and execute individualized speech and language therapy plans Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Monitor and document student outcomes, updating goals as needed Attend meetings and share valuable input as part of the academic support team Provide both direct and consultative services in accordance with students'
