Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist providing essential speech and language services to students on a part-time, contract basis. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP state license (eligible for CCC or currently completing CFY; SLPAs are not eligible) Bilingual fluency required (Spanish/English highly preferred) Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience strongly valued Comfortable delivering therapy both in person and via teletherapy platforms Strong communication and organizational abilities Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Position Responsibilities:
Provide diagnostic assessments and individualized therapy services for students with speech-language needs Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of student progress and therapy sessions Offer support and guidance to families and staff to maximize student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting Adapt strategies to meet the needs of a diverse, multicultural student body Work two days per week, with flexibility to schedule sessions on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday Experience the satisfaction of making a direct difference for children in a collaborative and supportive school setting.
