Desired Qualifications:
Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted Experience or knowledge in school-based settings strongly preferred Ability to effectively assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse range of speech, language, and communication disorders Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for productive engagement with students, staff, and families Comfort working with high school-age caseloads and tailoring therapy to adolescent learners
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to high school students Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student success across academic and social environments Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by district and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert guidance and support for student accommodations and progress Monitor and document each student's progress, adjusting therapeutic techniques as needed
