Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Here's an exciting opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists who thrive in dynamic school settings. This full-time contract role offers the chance to provide impactful speech-language services across secondary education and mixed itinerant caseloads, supporting students' communication growth and working closely with educators and families. The position is based within reach of Greenwood and Abbeville, South Carolina. With a 4-day workweek and a 190-day contract that begins July 17th, 2026, you'll find the balance between meaningful professional challenges and personal time. Compensation reflects your expertise, with an hourly rate of $40-50 depending on experience.
Ideal candidates will bring:
Active SLP license (CFY considered) or SLPA credential with relevant school-based experience. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligibility to obtain it. Pediatric experience in educational or healthcare settings. Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and documentation for school-aged children. Comfortable with both in-person and teletherapy service delivery models. Flexibility to serve secondary or mixed itinerant caseloads as needed. Collaborative spirit for working on IEP teams and partnering with teachers, administrators, and parents. In this role, you will: Provide direct and consultative speech-language pathology services to diverse student populations. Conduct screenings, evaluations, and individualized treatments. Develop and maintain all required documentation and participate in IEP meetings. Travel between sites for a mixed itinerant caseload when needed.
