Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school-based services, located in Boiling Springs, SC. This onsite contract position supports students with complex communication needs, including those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities, Cerebral Palsy, Rett Syndrome, and other significant developmental and medical conditions. Many students benefit from individualized, multimodal communication strategies, including Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide skilled speech-language therapy services tailored to students with diverse and complex needs. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI), and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Deliver services within a 3:1 workload model, emphasizing quality and focused intervention. Participate in a team of seven experienced SLPs, fostering collaboration and professional growth. No case management duties or additional school responsibilities; no travel required.
Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure. Educator certification specific to school settings. Experience or interest in working with AAC is beneficial but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is valued. Commitment to onsite work at the designated school.
