Job Description

We are looking for a fun and learning-focused Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. You will offer evidence based and child-centered services that will help improve the lives of children in our community. This position will include weekly and intensive therapy for children. 1 on 1 mentorship with our Lead SLP in a large multidisciplinary clinic. Responsibilities Evaluate children ages 0-21 for a wide range of diagnoses, developmental delay and conditions. Perform ST sessions centered of each child for improvement of functional abilities. Collaborate with other clinicians and disciplines to maximize therapeutic benefit. Guide and educate family members and caregivers Observe, note, and report on progress of long and short term treatment goals Collect data and document processes followed Experience with AAC devices preferred but not required Skills Willingness to learn from an already incredible team of clinicians Willingness to help contribute to other clinicians success and educational abilities Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Current ASHA Licensure State Licensure within South Carolina Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Neurological Rehabilitation, and Sensory Integration preferred. Ability to manage patients with different types of functional abilities Flexibility with alterations to care Professional behavior Excellent interpersonal communication skills High degree of organizational skills
