Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels as a Speech-Language Pathologist. In this essential role, you will collaborate with passionate educators and families to help students achieve their communication goals. As a licensed, certified SLP, you'll make a tangible difference in a vibrant educational environment near Gaffney, SC. Desired Qualifications:
Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist ASHA certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) Experience delivering speech and language services in elementary, middle, and high school settings Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress assessments according to best practices and school guidelines Develop and update individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy services Maintain effective communication with families, teachers, and support staff Monitor student progress and document interventions in compliance with school standards Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations
