Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-8 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). In this pivotal role, you'll provide direct services while covering a maternity leave for the current SLP during August through October. Your expertise and compassion will ensure students continue to receive the high-quality support they need to thrive academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Relevant experience working in a school-based setting, preferably with K-8 students Strong knowledge of IEP processes, evaluations, and goal setting Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate positively with educators, staff, and families
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to students in kindergarten through eighth grade Maintain and follow each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and document progress Communicate with teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs and progress Participate in IEP meetings as needed to ensure seamless service delivery Manage documentation and stay compliant with state and federal regulations
