Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an opportunity to make a real difference in young students' lives as a full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position is dedicated to supporting an elementary school community, where your expertise can shape communication skills and boost academic success for growing learners.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Holds current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). Valid state license for practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Demonstrated experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting, particularly at the elementary level. Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and parents. Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments for elementary-aged students. Develop personalized therapy plans and deliver effective, evidence-based interventions tailored to student needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education professionals to support student learning and inclusion. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) reports. Offer consultation to parents and staff regarding strategies for developing students' communication abilities. Participate in team and IEP meetings, providing input to support holistic student development.
