Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Two full-time contract opportunities are available for experienced Speech Language Pathologists in a supportive school-based environment near Hampton, SC. Play a critical part in helping students achieve their communication goals while enjoying schedule flexibility and a welcoming atmosphere.
Skills & Experience Sought:
Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) Active South Carolina SLP License Valid South Carolina Teaching Certification Background in school settings, especially working with pediatric populations Healthcare SLP experience is valuable Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy to students, supporting their educational and developmental milestones Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to tailor therapy plans that promote student success Assess, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and documentation Monitor and report progress, adjusting interventions as needed for optimal outcomes Engage in school activities and staff meetings as a dedicated team member
