Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students' communication needs during the upcoming academic year. As a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you'll make a meaningful impact in a school-based setting, collaborating closely with educators, families, and support staff. This onsite position is catered to professionals with a passion for helping children reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid professional licensure for the state of South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain before start date) Prior experience working in a school environment is highly desirable Strong assessment, treatment, and report-writing skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other school professionals to foster student growth Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements Provide ongoing consultation, support, and training as needed for staff and families Participate in IEP meetings and professional development sessions throughout the school year
