Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting. This contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, running from July 28, 2026, through May 21, 2027, and involves working full-time, Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours per week. This rewarding role involves working with elementary, middle, and high school students across multiple school sites, providing critical services that foster student success in communication and learning.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Active South Carolina license or eligibility for SC SLP certification ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous experience supporting school-aged children (elementary through high school preferred) Strong skills in conducting speech and language therapy, evaluations, and writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Comfortable collaborating with diverse school teams and working at various site locations
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to students with a range of communication needs Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations, documenting progress and adjusting plans as needed Develop, write, and update IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary school teams Gather and analyze student data to inform personalized intervention plans Travel between school sites to provide services where they're needed most
