Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take the next step in your career as a Speech Language Pathologist by supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels near Lake City, SC. This full-time, contract position runs from July 28, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with consistent Monday-Friday hours (37.5 hours weekly). Enjoy the diverse experience of working in the field at multiple school sites, collaborating with educational teams, and making a difference for students with a variety of communication needs.
Key Requirements:
Active South Carolina SLP license or eligibility for SC SLP certification Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred Ability to manage diverse caseloads spanning elementary, middle, and high school students Strong skills in delivering direct therapy, conducting evaluations, and writing IEPs Capable of working independently across multiple school sites in a given week Excellent communication, recordkeeping, and data collection abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students as outlined in their plans Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to help identify student needs Develop and maintain IEPs, collaborating with interdisciplinary educational teams Track progress and collect data to inform instructional decisions Travel between school sites as required to meet student needs This opportunity offers professional growth, the chance to impact a wide range of students, and a dynamic work environment across various school settings.
