Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting elementary, middle, and high school students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role is based near the Timmonsville, SC area, with responsibilities at several school sites. Enjoy working a consistent, full-time schedule (Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours weekly) as you make a meaningful impact on student success and communication skills.
Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:
Valid South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license or eligible for SC SLP certification SLP-CCC credential (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred Familiarity with therapy documentation and progress monitoring Ability to travel between multiple schools as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels Perform comprehensive evaluations to determine students' needs Develop, write, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Accurately collect and interpret therapy data to adjust plans as needed Collaborate with families, teachers, and school teams to support each student's goals Work "in the field" at various campuses within the region
