759 General Information Tell us about the unit(s): this position would be expected to float between IRF and Acute Hospital floor
Number of Beds:
14 bed rehab unit, 135 bed acute care hospital (includes a 7 bed ICU)
Number of Staff:
3 PRN speech therapist that assist throughout the week/weekend
Type of Staff:

Day Shift:
8-hour shifts (flexible start/stop time), 1 weekend a month expectation with option to flex a day during the week. o
Night Shift:
N/A Patient Ratios (Estimated) - Changes t/o the week: PRN assist throughout week to assist with caseload o Usually see approx. 5-6 patients on rehab 3-5x/week depending on frequency/need and then acute caseload (varies). OP modifieds 1x/week (usually no more than 1 or 2)

BLS CCC-SLP
Experience with MBSS List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s): FEES certification preferred•
Additional Preferences:
(ex: previous travel experience preferred, easily adaptable to fast paced unit, can function well independently) Looking for someone that has experience in an acute hospital setting, experience with MBSS is a must and FEES certification with experience is preferred
Dress Code:
Scrub Color light grey tops/bottoms, also can wear black pants
