9649567-29853 Job Description Step into an impactful role supporting young learners communication development as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist. Serving pre-K through third-grade students, youll help transform lives by fostering critical speech and language skills in a school environment. With a small student caseload, youll collaborate closely with educators and families to set each child up for success. This part-time position is structured for 2 days per week on-site, ideally on Mondays and Wednesdaysproviding a balanced schedule that supports your professional and personal commitments.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP-CCC credential and state licensure Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with early childhood and elementary-aged students, preferred Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for students aged 3K to 3rd grade Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct speech-language therapy for a caseload of approximately 16 students Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student growth Offer consultation and resources to staff and parents to facilitate skill generalization
