Qualifications and Experience:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active, valid SLP license for South Dakota (or eligibility to obtain) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred Prior experience with pediatric caseloads in a school-based setting Ability to collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support students educational goals Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) to children with diverse backgrounds Document progress, maintain accurate records, and provide data for IEP meetings Consult with educators and families on effective strategies for supporting student communication Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs Adapt therapy methods to best support student engagement and progress
