Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

This full-time, on-site opportunity welcomes experienced SLPs as well as those ready to complete their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). If you're motivated to make a difference in pediatric speech-language development, this role offers a rewarding experience and flexibility for those interested in travel assignments.

Key Qualifications:

Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Possess or be eligible for current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA CCC's) required, or actively pursuing completion of CFY Ideally, bring experience working with pediatric populations or in a school setting Exhibit strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Maintain a passion for helping diverse learners achieve their highest potential

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based therapy for students ages PreK-12 Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs Work closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student progress Document assessments, treatment plans, and student response in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines Educate staff and parents about speech-language milestones, disorders, and strategies for support Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development
