This role includes providing therapy services, completing documentation, and collaborating with school teams to support students' communication needs. Lighthouse Therapy is a small, SLP-owned company that values clinician support and understands the demands of school-based practice. We offer compensation for both direct and indirect time, including planning, documentation, and IEP-related responsibilities. Duties Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments tailored to pre-k/high school students in a school-setting Develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving speech clarity, language comprehension, voice quality, and social communication skills. Deliver engaging therapy sessions that incorporate evidence-based techniques for speech therapy and early intervention strategies. Collaborate closely with educators, caregivers, and healthcare teams to ensure cohesive patient care and progress tracking. Educate families on home exercises and communication strategies to reinforce therapy goals outside of sessions. Maintain detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance records in accordance with regulatory standards. Experience Prior school experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is preferred. Demonstrated expertise in using speech therapy techniques with pediatric populations and a focus on early intervention programs. Proven ability to perform thorough patient assessments using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques. Experience working with diverse populations and tailoring therapy approaches to individual needs is a plus.
