Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school settings, located in Dandridge, TN. This role focuses on providing speech and language services to children within an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families. Monitor student progress and adjust therapy methods as necessary. Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff regarding speech and language development. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with credentials suitable for school practice. Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Familiarity with IEP processes and educational compliance standards.
