Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Speech-Language Pathologist - Short-Term School-Based Opportunity Step into a rewarding contract position as a Speech-Language Pathologist, serving students in a supportive school setting near Gallatin, TN. This is an excellent opportunity for SLP professionals, including those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic educational environment. Teletherapy options may be available to maximize flexibility and reach.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP license in Tennessee Experience working in pediatric or school-based settings preferred SLP-CFY candidates are encouraged to apply Familiarity with teletherapy platforms a plus Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to address communication, articulation, language, and social/pragmatic goals Conduct comprehensive assessments and document progress regularly Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and district staff to promote student success Maintain documentation and comply with all special education regulations Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for service delivery
