Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Tennessee ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status required Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families Ability and enthusiasm to work with a diverse caseload spanning grades 6-12 Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to changing needs Open to new graduates—mentorship and support available
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations, screenings, and assessments to identify student needs Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement evidence-based therapy Deliver direct speech-language therapy for students with various communication and language disorders Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress and participation Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development opportunities
