A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

•$1,000 HIRING BONUS•We're hiring full time Speech-Language Pathologists at Mountain Region Speech & Hearing Center in Kingsport, TN!

Mountain Region Speech & Hearing Center offers speech services to people of all ages, from birth to geriatrics. These services include speech-language evaluations and treatment for pediatrics and adults, pediatric feeding evaluations and treatment, adult swallowing evaluations and treatment, and FEES for adults. As a speech provider of choice in our region, Mountain Region Speech and Hearing Center offers a place to grow personally and professionally in a challenging and rewarding environment. Our team is growing and we are looking for people who share our commitment to provide excellent healthcare for our patients. We continually seek outgoing and well qualified Speech Pathologists to join our team at Mountain Region Speech and Hearing Center.

Qualifications:

Formal Education:

Master's Degree Master's Degree must be from a program satisfying the American Speech-Language/Hearing Association's academic and practicum requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). ASHA certification in Speech/Language Pathology CPR certification. Current state license in Speech/Language Pathology.

Schedule:

Day shift - Monday to Thursday /office time on Friday mornings Clinical Fellows may apply CF $55,000 with sign on bonus at end of fellowship to stay at
