Job Description

Speech Therapist/CCC-SLP Confidential Arlington, TX 76017 Full-time Full-time We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy, particularly in geriatrics and SNF/long term care. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in patients, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech and language disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve communication skills. Educate patients and families about speech disorders and treatment options. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Stay updated on the latest research and developments in speech therapy practices. Requirements Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field. Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Therapist. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient assessment techniques. Experience working with geriatric populations is preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
