Responsibilities include:

Evaluating residents and developing individualized treatment plans Providing skilled speech and swallowing therapy Addressing communication, cognitive, and swallowing impairments Using AAC strategies when appropriate Educating residents, families, caregivers, and staff Collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team Supporting swallow studies such as MBSS and FEES when needed Completing timely and accurate documentation Supporting restorative nursing staff as needed What We're Looking For Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license CCC-SLP or eligible Clinical Fellow (CF) In good standing with applicable licensing boards and regulatory agencies LTC/SNF or geriatric experience preferred, but not required Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills Net Health experience is a plus Passion for helping residents achieve their highest level of independence At FPACP, we take pride in our culture and our ROCKIN recognition program, ROCKStar (Recognizing Outstanding Care and Kindness) .
