Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Advance your career supporting students' communication needs as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC)! In this rewarding role close to Brookshire, you'll provide vital assessment, intervention, and therapy for school-aged children, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary educational teams. What we're seeking:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA
- Active state licensure (or eligibility)
- Previous experience working with K-12 students is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students, faculty, and families
- Effective organizational and documentation abilities What you'll do:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop tailored Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, addressing a range of speech and language disorders
- Monitor student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success
- Maintain detailed and timely records to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
