Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Advance your career supporting students' communication needs as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC)! In this rewarding role close to Brookshire, you'll provide vital assessment, intervention, and therapy for school-aged children, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary educational teams. What we're seeking:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students, faculty, and families
  • Effective organizational and documentation abilities What you'll do:
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop tailored Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, addressing a range of speech and language disorders
  • Monitor student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success
  • Maintain detailed and timely records to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
