Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with students as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school environment. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week, August through the end of the school year) welcomes both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFYs) who are passionate about making a difference in students' lives. Work with a manageable caseload of 40-45 students, helping them overcome communication barriers while utilizing your Spanish-English bilingual skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Sciences Active SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Texas Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required Experience or interest in working within a school setting Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy services for students with a variety of speech and language needs Support students in achieving academic and social success by addressing communication disorders Maintain ongoing progress monitoring, documentation, and reporting in compliance with school and state guidelines Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to create and implement effective intervention strategies Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals This position offers the chance to build meaningful relationships with students and school staff, grow your professional skills, and enjoy the satisfaction of helping bilingual learners thrive academically and personally.
