Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based setting as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, providing specialized support and making a genuine difference in the lives of students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract opportunity allows you to work primarily with younger children, while also engaging with a diverse student population across all age groups. Qualifications and Experience:

Active Speech-Language Pathology license and eligibility to practice in the state Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) may be considered Strong experience in pediatric speech and language assessment and intervention At least 2 years of previous school experience is preferred Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families for comprehensive student support Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, with focus on younger children Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic support to students Engage in ongoing communication with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student progress Maintain detailed records in compliance with school and district policies Support students with diverse backgrounds and a range of communication needs
