Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting K-12 students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. Make a meaningful difference by helping children achieve their communication potential in a dynamic educational setting near Channelview, TX.
Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Texas Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in a school-based setting, working with K-12 student populations Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and progress updates Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student outcomes Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Support students of diverse backgrounds and abilities with professionalism and empathy
