Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist working in a contract position supporting schools for the first nine-week period of the upcoming academic year. This role provides the opportunity to work on-site, assisting students while covering a maternity leave and collaborating with educational professionals. This position starts August 17th and runs through October 9th, offering full-time hours (37.5 per week) across two campuses. You will help supervise a bilingual SLPA, making prior experience in diverse settings particularly valuable. The school district is set to conduct interviews on April 27th, 2026—don't miss your chance!
Desired Qualifications:
Active state-issued Speech Language Pathologist license (CCC required) Professional, up-to-date credentials (license image required for submission) Ability to clear fingerprinting and background check procedures Experience in a school setting preferred Bilingual skills or prior experience supervising bilingual staff helpful Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide diagnostic and therapeutic speech/language services to students Supervise and support a bilingual SLPA as part of a collaborative team Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements Communicate progress, recommendations, and strategies with school staff and families Enjoy the rewarding experience of working directly with students in an educational environment while advancing your career in speech-language pathology.
