Job Description

INTRINSIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide diagnosis and treatment of speech-language & hearing disorders and conditions purpose of disease management and rehabilitation as well as health promotion. Participate in activities and training to promote and attain regulatory compliance at the local, state and federal level.
THIS POSITION IS FOR CLEVELAND, TEXAS AND SATURDAY ONLY. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
Evaluate patients/clients; develop a plan of care with associated goals including quantifiable speech and language outcome targets Provide diagnosis, treatment, instruction and other speech and language services according to the scope of practice limitations per State statute Participate in professional and facility enhancement programs and activities as required by the President/Vice-President and/or the Director of Clinical Services Ensure proficient services through proper patient and equipment scheduling Assist with and/or carry out routine cleaning, maintenance support operations of the clinic's physical plant, patient care equipment and supplies in accordance with regulatory standards and EHS policies and procedures Comply with the Facility's Comprehensive Compliance Plan (CCP) which includes but is not limited to: Business & Clinical Operations, Environmental Health & Safety, HIPAA, Human Resources, and Code of Conduct as well as all facility policies and procedures and educational requirements associated the CCP Comply with all local, state and federal regulations training and instruction requirements as well as any other standards that govern healthcare services provision Carry out EHS duties as designated by policy and/or by the President/Vice-President and/or the Director of Clinical Services Uphold Crow Therapies values as the core of our work environment: Positive Attitude, Ethical, Adaptability, Kindness
QUALIFICATIONS
A graduate of an approved Speech-Language & Hearing Pathology program and is eligible to pursue and apply for a certificate of clinical competence in speech-language and audiology granted by the ASHA A person licensed to practice Speech-Language & Audiology in Texas A person who demonstrates the physical and mental capabilities (practical &/or written, post-training competency test) to perform the duties required of the position A person who can meet the physical demand level of the position
PHYSICAL DEMAND CAPACITY
Consistent with published industry PDC norms or minimally: Sitting for uninterrupted periods of 45-60 minutes Lifting occasionally light loads (5-10 pounds) Bending & reaching for patient access and positioning

Has the potential for Hazardous Substance Exposure due to work duties Has the potential for Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure due to work duties
