A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

This contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists eager to contribute their expertise during the academic year and enjoy summers off. Serving a district near College Station, TX, you will work collaboratively with educators and families to help students achieve their fullest potential. What we're looking for: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current state SLP license or eligibility for licensure Experience working with school-aged children preferred Ability to develop and implement effective, individualized therapy plans Strong collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and other professionals Outstanding communication and organizational abilities Core responsibilities include: Assessing students' speech, language, and communication needs Developing and executing evidence-based treatment plans Writing clear evaluation and progress reports Participating in IEP team meetings and contributing to educational planning Providing direct therapy and consultative support for students Guiding classroom staff on strategies to support student success Maintaining accurate documentation in line with district and legal requirements This W-2 position offers a competitive pay structure, full benefits, and a Monday through Friday schedule with summers off—allowing you to recharge and pursue other interests during school breaks.
