Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a real impact in the lives of students by bringing your skills as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to a vibrant school community near Converse, TX. This is a full-time contract position offering 37.5 hours each week, running from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027. As a certified SLP with the CCC designation and bilingual abilities, you'll play a vital role in helping students achieve their communication goals while participating in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist - CCC certification required Bilingual skills, with the ability to provide services to diverse student populations Previous experience in school-based settings preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Commitment to evidence-based therapy and ethical practice Ability to provide supervision as needed, supporting colleagues and interns
Daily Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs Maintain comprehensive, timely documentation of services and progress Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to educational planning Provide supervision and guidance to support staff and interns as required Foster a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive therapeutic environment This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a difference while continuing to grow as a professional.
