Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) to provide essential speech therapy services in an educational setting located in Converse, TX. This contract position involves working with a diverse caseload of students from Pre-K through 8th grade within multiple school locations. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations, participating in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, supervising Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLP-As), and providing testing support as needed. The caseload will range between 20 to 37 students depending on the assigned school and days of service. Services will be delivered across two campuses with schedules structured to accommodate 2 days per week at one site and 3 days per week at another.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Texas SLP License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation required prior to district presentation Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, with documented clinical hours Bilingual or monolingual candidates welcome to apply Experience with school-aged children, particularly grades PreK-8, is highly desirable Ability to collaborate with school personnel and family members to support student progress Previous experience supervising SLP-As is a plus
