Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students' communication needs within a vibrant educational community near Converse, TX. As a contract Speech Language Pathologist (CCC), you'll engage with learners across multiple campuses during the 2026-2027 school year, providing essential speech and language services on-site. Newly certified practitioners (CFYs) are encouraged to apply—comprehensive supervision is offered to help you thrive in your clinical fellowship.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech Language Pathologist professional license (CCC required; will consider CFY candidates) Able to provide licensure documentation during the credentialing process Ready to complete time-sensitive requirements including fingerprinting and background check Passionate about serving school-aged children and adaptable to various age groups and school settings Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to students as assigned across campuses (site determined post-interview) Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and document progress Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support students' needs Maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with district and state requirements Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
