Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a valued role supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist for the first nine-week period of the 2026 school year. The assignment is on-site, working across two campuses within a vibrant school district near Converse, TX. As part of this full-time, contract position, you will play a crucial part in covering a maternity leave, making a meaningful difference for learners at a pivotal stage in their academic journey. Your background in educational speech-language services will enable you to support communication needs, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and guide the work of a bilingual SLPA. This assignment requires expertise, flexibility, and a passion for positively impacting diverse student populations.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Current, valid Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) license Experience supporting school-aged students in educational settings Bilingual skills; ability to work effectively with bilingual populations Prior supervision of SLPAs or similar support personnel preferred Strong collaboration and communication abilities Willingness to complete a fingerprint/background check as part of credentialing Availability for a time-sensitive, virtual prescreen interview
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver assessments, intervention, and progress monitoring for student caseloads (details to be determined) Supervise and mentor a bilingual SLPA, ensuring quality service and best practices Maintain detailed records and contribute to developing IEPs and student plans Communicate professionally with staff, families, and students Work full-time (37.5 hours per week) across two campuses, from August 17th to October 9th, 2026 Let your expertise shine in a supportive, collaborative school environment with this rewarding contract role.
