This contract opportunity near Denton, TX, is ideal for an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist ready to collaborate with educators and families to deliver tailored support for students' unique needs.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP license in Texas (or eligibility to obtain prior to start) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; consideration given to strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) Previous experience within school settings or with pediatric populations highly valued Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized and informal tools Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting students' speech and language goals Deliver direct therapy to students, utilizing research-based intervention strategies Provide consultation and resources to teaching staff and parents to generalize skills across settings Maintain accurate records, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development
