Virtual Speech Language Pathologist in TX VocoVision - 4.0 Denton, TX Job Details Contract 15 hours ago Qualifications Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services within an educational setting located in Denton, TX. This position focuses on delivering virtual speech therapy to students, supporting their communication development and academic progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy via telepractice to students exhibiting speech, language, and communication difficulties Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and student needs Evaluate and document student progress regularly while collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations governing speech-language services in schools Employ effective virtual communication techniques to engage students remotely and support language development
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and certification Experience delivering speech therapy through telespeech platforms in educational environments Strong understanding of speech and language disorders commonly found in school-aged children Ability to adapt therapy approaches to remote settings while maintaining student engagement Skilled in collaborating with educational personnel and families to support student success
