A school district in DeSoto, TX, in partnership with Soliant, is seeking a
Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year!
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to determine student needs. Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans and IEP goals. Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students individually and in small groups. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals. Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school and state requirements. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations and service planning. Create a supportive, inclusive environment for students with speech and language disorders.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
(CCC-SLP) preferred or in progress. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Passion for working with children and helping them overcome communication challenges.
