Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current and active Texas SLP license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Experience in school-based settings preferred Strong organization and time management skills, including the ability to maintain and submit weekly timelogs for administration Comfortable supporting students across diverse elementary and secondary settings Professional communication and collaborative approach with educators and families
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative therapy to students, following IEP goals and district procedures Manage an assigned caseload, usually at one school but occasional coverage at a second site may be required Conduct comprehensive evaluations and write clear, actionable reports Maintain accurate records and data in compliance with state and district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Uphold district standards regarding attendance, ensuring accurate documentation of time worked Foster a positive and encouraging therapeutic environment for students of varying ages and abilities You'll benefit from a manageable schedule—37.5 hours a week throughout the school year—and enjoy the professional rewards of seeing your expertise directly impact student achievement and confidence.
