Speech-Language Pathology License Pediatrics Full Job Description Overview:

Requirements:

Bachelors or masters degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited college or university Current Texas state license Experience in pediatrics required Clinical/Practicum hours completed. Home health experience preferred. Bilingual in Spanish a plus •Feeding experience is a plus•

Responsibilities:

Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations. Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
