A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Per Diem Goldthwaite Health & Rehab Center 1207 Reynolds Street, Goldthwaite, TX 76844 Join Our In-House Subacute Rehabilitation Team! Goldthwaite Health & Rehab Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house subacute rehabilitation team . This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping residents improve their communication, cognitive function, and swallowing abilities while working alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each resident's goals and clinical needs. Perform bedside swallowing evaluations and implement appropriate dysphagia treatment plans. Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and home recommendations. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and rehabilitation team members to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply if applicable. Experience in skilled nursing, subacute rehabilitation, or geriatrics is preferred but not required. Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and organizational skills.
