Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract role supporting students' communication and language development in a school-based setting. This opportunity involves working closely with educators, families, and students to address a range of speech and language needs, making a lasting difference in educational outcomes.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure and eligibility for relevant certifications Previous experience providing speech and language services in K-12 settings Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation Proficiency with assessment and intervention for various speech and language disorders Excellent communication and collaboration skills with peers and families
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for students referred by staff or parents Develop individualized treatment plans and goals within the IEP framework Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs Maintain up-to-date, accurate documentation and progress reports Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students' communication needs in the classroom Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Offer consultations and recommendations to school staff for classroom strategies and accommodations
