Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting K-8 students as a Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This full-time opportunity begins August 3, 2026, and concludes May 21, 2027, offering a well-defined schedule without additional district responsibilities beyond your contracted hours—no bus duty or parent pickup required. Enjoy guaranteed hours, compensation for both direct and indirect services, and stipend eligibility for travel therapists. You'll play a vital part in helping students achieve communication milestones, utilizing your clinical expertise to make a positive impact across a diverse caseload.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) welcomed; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also encouraged Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but strong new graduates considered Solid foundation in assessment, intervention, and individualized education planning Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, families, and support teams
Key Responsibilities:
