Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in a child's life by providing specialized speech-language services through a contract opportunity located near Greenville, TX. This assignment focuses on working with a single PreK, 4-year-old student requiring early intervention and IEP-based speech support. The current assignment calls for a dedicated professional to provide 4 hours of service, bringing expertise as an SLP to a focused, meaningful setting.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred Solid understanding of IEPs and early intervention strategies Ability to engage effectively with young children and collaborate with educational teams Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy to a PreK student in accordance with their IEP Assess, plan, and implement appropriate interventions tailored to early childhood education Maintain clear, accurate documentation of sessions and student progress Collaborate with family members and educational staff to support student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the multidisciplinary team Adhere to confidentiality standards and uphold ethical practices in every aspect This contract role offers a focused caseload and the opportunity to play a pivotal role in early childhood development.
