Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication and language development in a dynamic educational setting. This position focuses on providing comprehensive speech-language pathology services, serving pediatric populations within schools. You'll collaborate closely with fellow educators and support staff to create empowering, individualized plans that enable every child to reach their fullest potential.
Desired Experience and Skills:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an
SLP ASHA
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Experience with pediatric populations, preferably within school environments Strong diagnostic, assessment, and treatment planning abilities Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative approach
Core Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans for students Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services Collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student success Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and professional standards Participate in meetings to review progress, set goals, and adjust interventions as appropriate Promote a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student participation This contract role places you at the heart of the school community, where your expertise can make a meaningful impact.
