Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a positive difference in the lives of students by using your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an engaging school-based contract position. In this role, you will provide crucial speech and language services that help students develop confidence and communication skills within a collaborative educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with school-aged children, including assessment, goal setting, and intervention Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and students Ability to manage a caseload and complete necessary documentation timely and thoroughly

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' needs Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals tailored to student abilities Implement evidence-based direct and consultative therapy services within the school setting Monitor student progress and adapt interventions as needed Provide support and resources to classroom teachers and families to promote generalization of skills Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as a valued team member Stay current on practices in speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development Perks of the
