Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist - 26/27 School Year - Spring Branch, TX 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Houston, TX 77043 Full-time BlazerJobs 9 reviews Full-time Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for a full-time position for the upcoming school year with districts in the Spring Branch, Texas area. Applicants must meet all local and state requirements for SLPA practice in Texas, including: Completion of an approved Speech-Language Pathology Assistant educational program Current or eligible Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant through the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Completion of required clinical fieldwork or practicum hours as defined by state guidelines Ability to pass required background checks and fingerprinting as required by district and state regulations Compliance with all continuing education requirements as applicable to maintain active licensure Strong understanding of confidentiality standards including FERPA compliance Typical responsibilities for this role include: Supporting licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in the implementation of treatment plans Providing direct therapy services to students under supervision Assisting in the preparation of instructional materials and therapy activities Collecting and documenting student progress data accurately and consistently Supporting students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication goals Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success Maintaining accurate records and reporting student progress to supervising SLPs Implementing individualized education plan (IEP) goals as directed by supervising clinicians Blazer Jobs offers a competitive benefits package including weekly direct deposit, premium pay rates, health care benefit options, 401(k) eligibility, professional development opportunities, and more.
